Carmoora Clinic offers a wide range of Natural Therapies for people of all ages and stages of life. It was set up by Naturopath Philip Robertson 25 years ago, in a pleasant old house with garden setting on the corner of Carr and Moorabool streets, Geelong. He was soon joined by Naturopath Lisa Taylor, and then by Professor Qi-Wen Li (Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture), both now with over 20 years working at Carmoora. These three highly experienced practitioners have been joined in turn by other therapists whose services include Remedial and Relaxation Massage, Naturopathic Nutrition and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Helping you to walk freely, which means getting back to work for some, or keeping out of high level care as long as possible for others. Use of special pathology tests to find out why previous tests suggested nothing was wrong but you still feel unwell. Philip has patients from as far afield as Melbourne and Apollo Bay. With over 30 years experience of practising and teaching Natural Therapies, Philip has many satisfied patients, some returning after many years when new health problems occur. He likes a challenge! Philip is available Mon, Wed, Thurs & Fri.
2. Lisa Taylor ND BHSc
Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Bowen Therapy, Nutritional, Herbal & Musculoskeletal therapies, Ear Candling, Counselling and more.
Special areas: - Hormonal issues, Women's and Children's Health. Focus on how ill-health may impact families as a whole, and in setting up ongoing maintenance programs where you take over responsibility for your own health.
Lisa is a mother and grandmother, as well as being a highly experienced practitioner and teacher of Natural Therapies. Due to teaching commitments, presently available Fridays only.
3. Qi-Wen Li, Professor Shanghai College of TCM, CMRB Vic, Member FCMA
Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal
Special areas: - Back, neck & shoulder pain, rheumatism, arthritis, gastric disorders, asthma, insomnia, migraine, menstrual pain, infertility, sterility, impotence, stress, skin disorders e.g. eczema, psoriasis, hay fever, colds.
Prof. Li speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and worked as a teacher of TCM and hospital consultant in Shanghai before setting up practice in Australia. Both his father and grandfather before him were also well-respected teachers and practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Professor Li has over 40 year's experience in the field, with over 20 years in Mordialloc and at Carmoora.

4. Bruno Gerace Dip RM
Remedial Massage Therapy, Trigger-point Therapy, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release & Relaxation Massage.
Special areas - Headaches, back, shoulder and neck problems, hip complaints and more.
Bruno Gerace has been working alongside other natural therapists since 2005. Starting in west suburbs of Melbourne treating sports and work-related injuries, Bruno has also been employed at Spa resorts and volunteered at sports clubs. Later he set up his own massage business in Bannockburn. Bruno joined the team at Carmoora in May 2018 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in his fields, having worked with all age demographics and people from all walks of life. Bruno Gerace is available at Carmoora Clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays, other mornings by arrangement.
5. Rebecca Deeprose Dip RM
Remedial Massage Therapy, Trigger-point Therapy, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release and Lymphatic Drainage. Also Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF stretching) and Functional Movement Biomechanics.
Special Areas - Rebecca looks to treat any day to day muscle tightness due to work environment changes, outside stresses and to restore postural alinment. She aspires to achieve the best possible results for each client and welcomes any challenge by applying carefully constructed treatment plans. Currently undertaking further studies in Myotherapy, Rebecca joined the team at Carmoora in June 2018 and is available Wednesdays and Fridays. Member Massage and Myotherapy Australia.
6. Geraldine Riley B Comp Med, Adv Dip N
Special areas - Diabetes Prevention and Sports Nutrition
Your individual concerns and goals are used to create a personalised health program. Geraldine is dedicated to diabetes prevention, and as a former marathon runner she has a keen interest in sports nutrition. Immunity and auto-immunity, digestive complaints, child and teenage nutrition and dietary issues pertaining to ageing are also areas of special interest.
Regardless of your age, Geraldine uses an holistic approach to address any obstacles that may be preventing you from managing your weight, feeling more energetic or just taking control of your health.
Geraldine is the mother of four adult and teenage children who share her passion for all things healthy, active and being their best. Available most Mondays.
